Tips

For a closer shave

Shaving is a masculine ritual that provides comfort and a lighter look on the face. On the other hand, the constant aggression of the shaving blade can cause some damages and affect the health of your skin. To avoid these problems, we listed some tips to help you get a perfect shave without damaging the health of your skin:

- The best time to remove the beard is immediately after the bath when the skin is clean, soft and when the pores are open due to heat.
- Use shaving cream or gel and massage the beard region in circular movements, from one side to the other, downwards. This process helps to cut the shortest hair.
- Start shaving from the areas with the softer hairs, like the face and neck; leave the chin region where the hairs take longer to soften for last.
- Use new blades as they cut better and cause fewer injuries.
- Always move the blade in a direction of hair growth.
- Rinse the face with abundant cold water to close the pores and do not scrub the face with a towel, only dry it gently.
- Lastly, apply an aftershave lotion to not irritate or dry up the skin.

To make this ritual even more pleasurable, try the Bozzano line of personal cares specially developed for men; with shaving creams and foams, after shave lotions and gels and shavers.
